The HEY Network took part in an online Youth Exchange with youth workers in Paris.
Yesterday we took part in a youth exchange with Association of Social Centres of Aulnay-sous-Bois (ACSA) in France. The event was part of the Festival de l'engagement et de la mobilité (Festival of Engagement and Mobility).
The exchanges usually take place in person, through the Erasmus programme, however this year it was decided to still meet, albeit online. Taking the exchange online meant more organisations could get involved.
Exchange with ASCA before lockdown on the Broadwater Farm estate
The discussion looked at: Policing, Black Lives Matters, Brexit, COVID and many other common issues impact young people in both countries. The groups all agreed to do a follow up online session with their young people.
